The first day of the TAROPAK and POLAGRA trade fair block was filled with intensive discussions, inspiring presentations, and numerous demonstrations and masterclasses. From the very morning, the exhibition halls were buzzing with activity, bringing together professionals from the packaging, food, and technology industries.
A Groundbreaking Opening: Africa Food & Trade Forum
We kicked off the trade fair week with a special event – the first edition of the Africa Food & Trade Forum, organized as part of the joint TAROPAK and POLAGRA trade fair block.
The event was a great success, bringing together more than 100 business leaders, representatives of public administration, chambers of commerce, business support institutions, and diplomats. The Forum aimed to create a dynamic space for dialogue and to strengthen economic relations between Poland and African markets, with a particular focus on the agri-food sector and packaging solutions.
Innovation on Display: TAROPAK Exhibitors in the Spotlight
The heart of TAROPAK is above all its exhibitors, who this year presented a wide range of cutting-edge technologies, sustainable raw materials, and automated packaging lines. Visitors had the opportunity to see modern machinery in operation, explore innovative biodegradable packaging, and discuss individual projects directly with engineers and solution providers.

Today’s food industry operates in an environment where changes are taking place simultaneously on many levels – from consumer habits and emerging technologies to rising costs and regulatory requirements. The participants explored innovation from a broader perspective, viewing it as a strategic business response to a rapidly changing market. The debate featured Maciej Ptaszyński, Tadeusz Mroczkowski, Szymon Grunwald, and Łukasz Przesmycki, and was moderated by Jacek Sadowski.
Food Security in the Context of Current Global and Geopolitical Challenges. Strategy in Times of Uncertainty: How Can the Food Industry Build Resilience?
Today’s economic reality presents the food and packaging industries with challenges on an unprecedented scale. The sector operates in an environment of ongoing uncertainty, where global disruptions can rapidly affect local product availability and production costs. The session focused on the importance of businesses adapting quickly to new market cycles and changing conditions.
