On Wednesday, September 24, the MTP Poznań Expo hosted the festive opening gala of the TAROPAK 2025 Trade Fair. The event, inaugurated by Dariusz Wawrzyniak, Director of the Product Group at the MTP Group, brought together industry representatives, experts, and invited guests.

TAROPAK 2025 Gold Medal

The fair’s highest distinction – the TAROPAK 2025 Gold Medal – was awarded to TFP for the exceptional “Simple Piano” packaging created for OGIŃSKI VODKA. The statuette was presented by Prof. Andrzej Korzeniowski, Chair of the Gold Medal Competition Jury, together with Dariusz Wawrzyniak. The award was accepted by Maciej Meroniuk, TFP’s Director of Development.

Inspired by the music and elegance of the piano, the “Simple Piano” design combines an exclusive character with eco-friendly solutions—from recyclable solid board to eco-adhesive and innovative printing techniques.

Acanthus Aureus Awards

The gala also featured the prestigious Acanthus Aureus Awards, which honor the most creative and well-designed trade fair stands that effectively support exhibitors’ marketing strategies and foster dialogue with visitors. These distinctions highlight the importance of creativity and visual consistency in presenting companies at TAROPAK.

This year’s winners:

  • TFP Sp. z o.o.
  • PPHU MADEJPAK Sp. z o.o.

Polish Chamber of Packaging Awards

In addition, the Polish Chamber of Packaging (Polska Izba Opakowań) presented its Merit Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to the packaging industry. This year the honors went to:

  • Yanko Sp. z o.o. – for longstanding commitment, professionalism, and contributions to the development of Poland’s packaging sector.
  • Anna Naruszko, Editor-in-Chief of Opakowanie i Poligrafika magazine – for her exceptional efforts in promoting the packaging industry.

Appointments to the PIO Scientific and Technical Council

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of Certificates of Appointment to the Scientific and Technical Council of the Polish Chamber of Packaging, awarded by Krzysztof Niczyporuk, President of the Chamber. These appointments confirm active engagement in advancing innovative research and development within the packaging sector.
